PRINTS CAN INSPIRE YOUR HOLIDAY DECOR

If I’ve said it once I’ve not said it enough, prints should not only reside on Facebook and Instagram but in this age of all things yesterday and “I want it now!”, it can be easy to forget. You know that investment you made in professional imagery? Well there’s nothing better than seeing be it yourself or your family in print adorning your walls, tabletops and more. Those priceless smiles and expressions evoke a mood, don’t deprive yourself and tis’ the season to dress up your home for the Holidays. These DIY ideas are quick, cost effective and cute!

Note: Images are my own

My fave way to style images for the Holidays. I sourced this sequined wreath from TJMaxx last season but never put it to use until this year. I found arranging images which work best in 4x6 size, on this wreath much easier because the wreath is lightweight and pliable. The mini clothespins were sourced from The Dollar Tree but any wreathe will do. The hardest part will likely be selecting the images and determining on what wall to display the finished product. But don’t be afraid to dress it up even more with Holiday adornments.

As I was stringing these images, I totally realized that this idea is not just limited to the Holidays. I have lights in my home that run year round because I just love the mood. I sourced these lights from TJMaxx but find lights that fit your style and go with lightweight be they plug-in lights, battery operated or LED. I used clear thumb tacks (they don’t show), I already had on hand to hang the lights and mini clothespins yet again as they don’t weigh down the lights nor the pics.

Lights are everywhere at this time of year. I sourced this style from TJMaxx but go with what suits your fancy be it color or white. You can use blinking lights even. Space the images evenly for the best effect but there’s no right or wrong. As I was stringing these lights I had an idea to do this same style around my upstairs bannister. Get creative!

How about outfitting your gift with an image? I love the idea this season of going non-traditional and using scraps of fabric to wrap instead of paper. This idea regardless of the size of the gift works best with a 4x6 print or standard wallet size. Affix the pic to your gift with a mini clothespin and voila, two gifts in one! You can even write a cute Holiday greeting on the flip side.
